The Club
Haig Point is a private, 1,050-acre community on Daufuskie Island. The community became member owned in 2001 after purchasing the property from International Paper. Through its membership structure, Haig Point continues to enhance its amenities while protecting the community from resort commercialism.
The Rees Jones Signature Course is the centerpiece of the community. Jones’ design masterfully leverages the beauty of the island. The views are spectacular with course variations designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. The Signature Course was masterfully renovated by Jones in 2007.
The antebellum-style Clubhouse is frequently the center of Haig Point’s relaxed social scene. There are several dining rooms, a library and meeting services. Weddings, receptions and an array of events are regularly enjoyed at the Clubhouse.
Other amenities include the new Calibogue Club, a breathtaking dining venue next to our beachfront pool complex.
