Golf Courses
Featuring 29 holes of Rees Jones golf, the two courses skillfully leverage the beauty of the island. The views are spectacular, with course variations designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. The Signature Course has been lauded as among the country's top 100 courses by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. It's innovative 20-hole layout provides two distinct reoutings to choose from.The 9-hole Osprey Course is ideal for families or a quick game.

Beach Road
Haig Point's winding Beach Road is unlike any other, offering unencumbered, nearly 360-degree views of the Calibogue Sound, Intracoastal Waterway and Harbour Town. Take a leisurely ride in your electric golf cart, or set out for an early morning jog – the sunrise is worth setting your alarm for.

Calibogue Club
With breathtaking views of the sound and Intracoastal Waterway, the Club is a hub of socialization and activity. It houses the pool complex, featuring sunning decks and a kids’ pool as well as the bar & grill.

Clubhouse
The antebellum-style clubhouse is frequently the center of Haig Point’s relaxed social scene. There are several dining rooms, a library and meeting services. Weddings, receptions and an array of events are frequently enjoyed at the Clubhouse.

Golf Shop
Rees Jones' championship golf course, designed in 1986 and renovated in 2007, has received many honors including Top 5 in the State and Top 100 in America. The 18-hole Rees Jones Signature Course skillfully leverages the beauty of the island. The views are spectacular with course variations designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. Additionally, the 9-hole Osprey Course is ideal for families or a quick game.

Dining
Casual fare is served at the 30th Hole Grill in the Clubhouse, while the Calibogue Club offers a stunning beachfront venue for lunch and dinner.

Strachan Mansion
The historic Strachan Mansion, moved from St. Simons Island in 1986, serves as a charming guesthouse with an intimate bar and billiards room.

General Store

The Lighthouse
Meticulously restored, the Haig Point Lighthouse was built in 1873 and is currently used as a guesthouse as well as a venue for weddings, receptions and special events. As legend goes, the ghost of a young maiden, Maggie, still occupies the site. Tours are available when not occupied.

Equestrian Center
Haig Point has a private stabling facility that offers programs for all ages and abilities, including carriage rides and horseback riding. The center also offers lessons in English or Western seats. Pony rides are available for children.

Swimming
Just steps from the beach, the spacious family pool by the Calibogue Club is surrounded by sunning decks and is adjacent to the bar & grill. The lap pool in the Fitness Center is perfect for cardiovascular swimming; it is limited to use by those 18 and older.

Tennis
The Haig Point tennis complex includes six Har-Tru courts, two of which are lighted for evening play. Various clinics and private lessons are available.

Beaches
The beaches of Daufuskie Island stretch the length of our outer banks where you can enjoy sunbathing, shelling or strolling in the subtropical climate. The tidal currents of the Calibogue Sound are strong, so we recommend swimming in the pool by the Calibogue Club.

Golf Cart Rental
Available through the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis, carts are offered at a daily rate of $30 or a weekly rate of $180. Carts may not be taken outside the gates of Haig Point. All drivers must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Bicycle Rental
Bicycling under the tree canopies or along the beach road is an enjoyable way to tour the island and commune with nature. Bikes for all ages can be rented at the Equestrian Center at 843.341.8190. They can be picked up or delivered to your accommodations.

Croquet
Introduce your family and friends to the Haig Point Croquet Club. The croquet lawn is located next to the Strachan Mansion and the tabby ruins.

Horseshoes
Gather your friends and family and have fun pitching horseshoes beside the Calibogue Club. See the Club staff for equipment.

Boating
Members with boats have the opportunity to moor at the Community Dock. The facility is accessible on a space-available basis and can be used for a period of up to 48 hours. Please contact the front desk at 843.686.2000 for more information.

Cruises
Charter a boat through the Haig Point Marine Department at 843.341.8110 and cruise the pristine, deep waters surrounding Haig Point. Dolphin and sunset cruises are relaxing ways to enjoy the ocean and sound.

Fishing, Shrimping & Crabbing
Many of the ponds at Haig Point are stocked with bass and tilapia. All fishing is currently catch-and-release only. Fly-fish or shrimp in the golden marshes. Cast a scap net and bring home fresh crab. Note that a fishing license is required and may be purchased at the Wal-Mart on Hilton Head.

Watersports
A variety of water sports, including wave runners, sailing charters, parasailing, powerboat rental, environmental tours and kayaks, are available in nearby Harbour Town. Please call H2O Sports at 843.671.4386 or toll free at 877.290.4386 to arrange rentals.

Fitness Center
Located directly across from the Clubhouse, the Fitness Center is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and an outdoor lap pool. It is open 7 days a week, from 6am until 10pm
