Getting to Haig Point

Savannah Airport to the Haig Point Embarkation/Welcome Center

Leaving the airport, follow the signs to I-95 North. Continue on I-95 North to Exit 8 and take the Highway 278 Connector to Highway 278. Follow signs to Hilton Head Island. Continue on William Hilton Parkway (Highway 278) until you come to the Cross Island Parkway (stay in the left lane). After paying your $1.25 toll, cross the Charles Frazier Bridge and turn left at the first red light which is Arrow Road. Turn left immediately onto Helmsman Way and you will see the Haig Point Embarkation sign on your right. Go around Haig Point Circle and follow the signs to either the Baggage Drop or Member and Real Estate Guest Parking.

The Haig Point Embarkation/Welcome Center to Savannah Airport

After leaving the Haig Point Embarkation/Welcome Center, turn left on Helmsman Way and then right on Arrow Road. At the red light, take a right onto Palmetto Bay Road. Continue on the Cross Island Parkway onto the William Hilton Parkway ( Highway 278). Continue on Highway 278 to the Highway 278 Connector and follow signs to I-95 South. Take I-95 South to Exit 18-A Savannah International Airport.

Charleston/Beaufort to the Haig Point Embarkation/Welcome Center

Take Highway 17 South out of Charleston to Route 21 (to Beaufort). Take Route 21 to Highway 170. Follow Highway 170 to Highway 170/278. Take the Hilton Head Island exit (William Hilton Parkway/Highway 278). Continue on William Hilton Parkway (Highway 278) until you come to the Cross Island Parkway (stay in the left lane). After paying your toll, cross the Charles Fraser Bridge and turn left at the first red light which is Arrow Road. Turn left immediately onto Helmsman Way and you will see the Haig Point Embarkation sign on your right. Go around Haig Point Circle and follow the signs to either the Baggage Drop or member and Real Estate Guest Parking.

The Haig Point Embarkation/Welcome Center to Charleston/Beaufort

After leaving the Haig Point Embarkation/Welcome Center, turn left on Helmsman Way and then right on Arrow Road. At the red light, take a right onto Palmetto Bay Road. Continue on the Cross Island Parkway onto the William Hilton Parkway (Highway 278). Continue on Highway 278 to the Beaufort/Savannah exit. Turn right onto 170/278 and continue until 278 splits off toward Beaufort. Follow 170 to Highway 21 (left turn at stop light). Take Route 21 to stop sign and turn onto Highway 17 North, which will take you to Charleston.
